Philosophy

The Source Designs Fellowship grew out of a belief in a new emerging world paradigm, one whose emphasis would be harmony with our planet, community and quality of life.

While the core of our service is beautiful, sustainable home design, our holistic design approach virtually necessitates our diverse discipline array. All of our services however have one thing in common: a committment to the four principles of the Fellowship:

  • The design and geometry of a space affect the energy flow of a space, which in turn affects how that space is experienced.
  • Designers and builders have a responsibilty to create buildings and infrastructures that are self-sustaining, at least at the bioregional level.
  • Beautiful environments and life quality are intrinsic to sustainability
  • Compassion unlocks all doors, and is the only foundation that lasts.

The home can and should be a crucial fulcrum in shaping this new world. Our commitment at Source Designs is to offer the most beautiful, efficient and harmonious home and art designs to our clients..

The application of sustainable design techniques add a crucial depth and utility to all our designs. The new building systems and methods of sustainable design has the opportunity to revolutionize the look and livability of homes. Source Designs endeavors to assure that these new systems are integrated into all of our designs in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
